The short version

Paletta uses your photos and account details to create your personal color analysis report, keep your account working, process payment, and help you when something goes wrong.

We do not sell your photos. We do not use session recording or broad browser autocapture. Product analytics are limited to explicit events that help us understand whether the service is working.

Information we collect

Account information may include your email address, name, authentication provider details, and sign-in history needed to keep your account secure.

Analysis information includes the portraits you upload, the generated color analysis, palettes, report images, share links you create, and status details needed to run or recover an analysis.

Payment information is handled by our payment provider. Paletta receives order details needed to unlock the report, provide support, and keep purchase records, but we do not store your full card number.

Support and usage information may include messages you send through support chat, page views, selected product events, browser details, device details, and error logs.

How we use information

We use your information to sign you in, accept portrait uploads, create and display your Paletta report, manage one-time purchases, provide support, prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand performance, product quality, and demand for future features.

AI and photo processing

Paletta sends the photos and prompts needed for your report to AI service providers so the analysis and generated report images can be created.

Your report may include subjective recommendations. Use it as personal styling guidance, not as professional, medical, or identity advice.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, file storage, payment processing, email delivery, support chat, analytics, error monitoring, and AI generation.

Those providers may process information for us only as needed to provide their services, comply with law, protect security, or enforce their own terms.

Analytics and support

Paletta records limited product analytics events so we can understand whether the service is working. Session recording and broad browser autocapture are disabled because the service involves personal photos.

Paletta uses support chat and error monitoring tools to help users and diagnose problems. When you sign in, we may attach your account email or name to support and error context so we can help you faster.

When we share information

We share information with service providers that help run Paletta. We may also share information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer.

If you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the shared version of that analysis until the link is disabled or no longer available.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, analysis, image, payment, support, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and protect Paletta.

You can ask us to delete your account through support or by emailing support@trypaletta.com. We will try to delete your account, generated report data, and uploaded pictures within 30 days.

Some information may be kept when required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can choose what photos to upload, whether to create a share link, and whether to contact support. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting support.

Some browser or device settings may let you limit cookies or tracking. If you block required cookies, sign-in and report access may stop working.

Children

Paletta is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Paletta without appropriate permission, contact support and we will review it.

Updates and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Paletta changes. When the update is meaningful, we will change the date above and may provide additional notice in the app.

Questions or requests should be sent through the Paletta support chat in the app.
